ABDC Finale Tonight!

It’s finally here: The day Beat Freaks fans around the world have been waiting for! And not a moment too soon for me, considering I watched three hours of nearly unwatchable American Idol this week. Sorry, Idol fans. America’s Best Dance Crew — from the actual performances to the judges — is so much more entertaining.

Voting ended early this morning on the East Coast ahead of tonight’s Season 3 finale. The winner — either Beat Freaks or Quest Crew — has been decided and America’s best dance crew will be revealed on MTV in less than 12 hours.

It was fun watching the USANA family rally behind one of its own, Ruby Director Rino Razalan, who is a key component to the amazingly talented Beat Freaks crew. It’s been a Beat Freaks voting frenzy around the office!

Here are just a few comments we’ve received on Facebook:

  • I think I have called in at least 200 times since they aired the show last week. They are so tight! My 9 year old is trying to do some of their moves! — Debbie
  • DONE! BEAT FREAKS is where its at. — Eddie
  • They are doing such a great job…..these girls ROCK! — Danielle

In case you’ve missed something Beat Freaks-related, or just want to relive the season, I’ve tried to compile a list of places to get your Beat Freaks fix. Here goes:

  • You’ll want to start with WhatsupUSANA.com, of course :)
  • The Beat Freaks did an amazing job with its own social media. Freakthevote.com, Facebook, BeatFreaksCrew.com, Twitter — the crew reached the masses and it’s definitely paid off.
  • You’ll find a lot of inside information at MTV’s Remote Control Blog (in fact, below you’ll find information about tonight’s finale, courtesy of the Blog).
  • Check out America’s Best Dance Crew on MTV to watch full episodes in preparation for tonight’s finale.
  • And finally, LeeJ Razalan, Rino’s husband, passed along this link to videos of each Beat Freaks performance.

About tonight’s performance: It appears crews from episodes past will return to dance for America. The judges chose how the crews would be grouped for the final dance numbers. Here’s what you can expect to see and hear, thanks to the Remote Control Blog:

Performing to “Just Dance” by Lady Gaga:

  • Beat Freaks
  • Boxcuttuhz
  • Team Millennia

Performing to “Right Round” by Flo Rida

  • Dynamic Edition
  • Strikers All-Stars
  • Quest Crew

Performing to “Numba One (Tide is High)” by Kardinal Offishall ft. Keri Hilson

  • Fly Khicks
  • G.O.P.
  • Ringmasters

Hope everybody enjoys the show! I’ll be Twittering during the performances and will post a blog with the results.

  • Tim,

Amazing coverage throughout the season for the BEAT FREAKS. We are so honored to have teamed up with USANA for the past couple months. I know the BEAT FREAKS took full advantage of the USANA vitamins, shakes, and Rev3 drinks. Looking forward to an amazing night and kudos for all the support from Home Office to out in the field of USANA family coming together when we needed it!

    LeeJ Razalan
