USANA 2009 Convention: New Technology Thrills Packed Arena (Thursday PM)
As a part of the online experience segment, our fearless leader, VP of Marketing and Public Relations/Social Media Dan Macuga, explained to a packed crowd at EnergySolutions Arena how social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, and one you are obviously pretty familiar with — since you’re looking at it — are an integral part of building a strong USANA business.
“Social media is all about making connection,” Macuga said.
Social networking wasn’t the only newfangled online gadgetry announced this afternoon. Chief Information Officer Roy Truett unveiled several cool, new online tools that will allow you guys to take advantage of the online world.
New Associate Web sites feature different templates that are easy to create and customize. A brand new USANA corporate site with a modern look that’s easier to navigate, and a revamped product section that allows you to sort by body benefit, ingredient, or specials.
But the biggest announcement was the eApprentice, USANA’s new interactive online training tool.
“USANA has such great nutritional supplements, why can’t we have a business supplement?” 2-Star Diamond Director Susanne Cunningham asked.
Packed with audio, video and resources like the Business Lab, the eApprentice is that solution. Suzanne’s husband John said USANA already has the best products and compensation plan in the world, and, as of today, USANA also has the best training system in the world.
The excitement of these announcements was only rivaled by a revved up performance by The Beat Freaks — stars of Season 3 of MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew. All the fast paced, high-energy dancing was a great example of what you can do with the kind of cleaner, smarter, stronger energy of Rev 3 Energy™.

Associates were also treated to a Sensé segment featuring Marie Bertrand giving Dr. Denis Waitley a skin consultation and facial, a talk about REVolutionizing your business with Rev3 by Tony Daum, and a keynote speech Robert Allen, co-author of the new book Cash in a Flash, about the essential ingredients you need to create wealth.
Awards for some of the top Associate enrollers and top Platinum PaceSetter creators were handed out, and the nominees for the Dr. Myron Wentz Vision Award were also announced. The awards ceremony is happening now, so make sure to check USANAtoday.com for a full list of winners.

I think that whoever played Donald Trump should be given an Academy Award. At least a Golden Globe.
