Will You be Breaking Through at #USANA10?

We are hours from the start of the USANA 2010 International Convention! Over the next several days we’ll hear countless stories about breaking through barriers to achieve success personally and professionally. These stories are sure to inspire and motivate. I can’t wait!

Throughout the year on this blog we’ve shared several stories about incredible people accomplishing amazing things — breaking through, you might say. Here are just a few you may have missed:

  • Two cyclists finished an 1,100-mile trek spanning two countries, arriving in Salt Lake City in time for #USANA10. Amazing!
  • Phil Bowden paddled the grueling Texas Water Safari, a 260-mile test of skill, stamina, and determination.
  • Hundreds of participants completed a 12-week journey toward better health.
  • A tremendous group of USANA Associates conquered Everest — climbing more than 17,000 feet to Mt. Everest Base Camp. Determination and an adventurous spirit guided the trekkers on an experience of a lifetime.
  • Of course you remember the remarkable achievements of Team USANA during the Winter Games.
  • Perhaps it’s not quite in the same league as climbing Everest, biking 1,100 miles, or paddling for nearly three days straight, but we were pretty proud of ourselves :-)

Reaching New Heights
That’s just a sampling. It seems every day we hear of another achievement that makes us proud to be a member of the USANA Family.

For instance, Steve Netherby was one of “Ten to the Top” who recently reached the summit of Mt. Whitney. Great photo with Rev3 here.

At 14,505 feet, it’s the highest peak in the lower 48 states. The trekkers used the opportunity to raise money for Children’s Hunger Fund, an organization devoted to helping less fortunate children throughout the world.

Experience Africa
Later this year (December 20 – January 3), Werner Berger, who led the Mt. Everest Base Camp trek, will be leading another expedition. This time he’s inviting you to Experience Africa through the Serengeti and a trek to the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Additional details can be found on his website.

“No one, yes no one, can describe or comprehend the Africa experience until they have lived it,” Werner says. “The veldt, the animals, the indigenous people, and the sunsets are magical beyond description.”

Are You Breaking Through?
It’s exciting to read how people all over the world are breaking through. We all have obstacles to overcome, and whether yours involve conquering a fear, completing a challenge, or striving to reach new heights, the ability to break through these barriers is important to achieving success and happiness.

As we embark on what’s sure to be an unforgettable several days, please keep this question in mind: What’s going to be your breakthrough moment?
