USANA Social Media Tip #21: There’s an App for That

November 18, 2010 at 1:09 PM , , ,

Well, it’s finally here: the USANA iPhone app is now available for download from the iTunes app store.

The app provides instant access to USANA’s Health & Freedom Solution and will allow you to enter and access contacts into Follow-up Assistant. Even more, you’re able to play videos to share the USANA opportunity anytime, anywhere.

We have received a lot of questions about the app, so here are a few answers that we hope you find helpful.

Where can I get the app?
As the app is for the iPhone, the one and only place to download it is from the iTunes Music Store.

Is the app free?
You bet. However, to use it you must have a subscription to USANA’s Income Maximizer. You will use the same login information for the app.

What languages is the app in?
Currently, the app is available in US English, CA English, and ANZ English. Dates for future language/market releases have not yet been determined.

What countries is it available in?
You’re in luck: we just added the app to all of Apple App Stores, no matter the particular market. So, even though it is English-only right now, everyone has access to it.

Hopefully this answers most of your questions. If not, we will be posting some FAQs on USANAtoday.com soon. Or, please feel free to contact distributor services at distserv@usana.com.

Apps cover all ranges of subject matter these days, and it is great to have one that can help you easily share information about USANA.

Tell Us About It!
Please let us know what you think of the app and what content you would like to see added down the road.

  • Congratulations! What a great tool for your sales force! Do I get a sneak peek in December? :)

Great first effort, though the video quality is poor (I can obtain much better by converting the HFS DVD to MPEG-4 and creating a video playlist in my iTunes library).

By browsing the iTunes Store, it appears that Herbalife's app allows for general the general public to use their app and subsequently access a lot of content about the company without requiring a distributorship sign-in. Seems like it would be great for USANA to follow a similar model. Their app also allows for direct order placement and even enrollment right on the spot (great for both Associates and PCs).

I would really like to see at least a shopping cart, and ultimately online enrollment plus a mobile-friendly port of DLM (which is a little clunky when visited via browser), along with native iPad (HD) support.

    Thanks,

    Clark

Hi Tim, looking forward to the Android app.. Best wishes Andrew :-)

  • Yes, Android users are starting to catch up and surpass (in some regions) iphone users. Especially with the upcoming dualcore processors Droid phones are going to give Apple a run for their money.

    Proud DroidX User :)
