Forgetful Mallory and the Power of USANA’s Ginkgo-PS

Written by on January 12, 2011 in products, USANA with 7 Comments

Have you ever heard the saying “Memory feeds imagination”? So then does that mean if your memory isn’t exactly up to par then you have a poor imagination? Because if that’s true, then I’m in trouble. For some odd reason I can remember every line from every cheesy 80s flick I’ve ever seen, but I can’t remember the conversation my mother and I had just yesterday afternoon.

I think Mark Twain said it best, “When I was younger, I could remember anything, whether it happened or not.”

So is it selective memory or something bigger?

Honestly, I just think I have the memory of a goldfish.

Since I started working at USANA I’ve taken the HealthPak™ religiously, and taking the vitamins feels great. In fact, I feel better than I ever have, but I still suffer from a severe case of forgetfulness. I make myself a sandwich and I forget that I’m hungry. I’m driving and I forget where I’ve put my keys — only to realize they’re in the ignition. I answer the phone and forget to say hello.

Basically, I forget things all the time!

But fortunately, I think I’ve found something that might help. Recently I began taking Ginkgo-PS™ vitamins, which play a very important role specific to brain function.

Definition:

  • As we age, the circulatory system becomes less effective in delivering oxygen to the tissues, potentially slowing brain activity. Ginkgo-PS combines two powerful aids to brain function in a single supplement for benefits that include optimal mental performance, memory, and general cognitive function.

The Chinese have traditionally used Ginkgo biloba in herbal form for thousands of years, and an extract of ginkgo leaves has been used widely for decades in Europe for supporting memory, attention span, and other neurological activity.

Phosphatidylserine (PS) is the ideal complement to Ginkgo biloba. PS is a component of all cell membranes and is essential to proper cell function.

USANA uses only standardized Gingko biloba extract. The high quality of our Ginkgo biloba extract combined with PS gives clear advantages over the other ginkgo products on the market!

I can feel it’s helping my memory already. Do you want to know what I’ve been blogging about this whole time? Easy. Ginkgo-PS and how I’ve benefitted from its use. And I just recalled that from memory. I didn’t even have to scroll up to see what I had written.☺

At this rate, I might even be able to remember to put the seat down before I pee. Thank you Ginkgo-PS. Thank you.

    Mallory,

According to my wife of almost 40 years; the incorrect toilet seat position is always my fault. I can remember her telling me that.

    Great post!
