Living a Hollywood Dream

I had a conversation with a co-worker about my recent trip to the L.A. for the Kari Feinstein Style Lounge (for the Oscars) and she asked me, “Did you ever think you’d have a job where you’d be able to say you were away on a business trip for the Oscars?” As a failed actress, the thought had crossed my mind a few times but back then the reason for the trip had a different dreamlike state about it. Don’t get me wrong, having the chance to chat with many different celebrities is amazing! No that’s not true…it was the most fun I’ve ever had on a business trip!

So many of the celebrities that we meet have already been taking our supplements and love them! A great deal of them were also taking other brands of probiotics or melatonin, but when we talked more in depth with them about the products and shared the USANA difference, they were really impressed.

I kept hearing, “I love probiotics but traveling with them is so difficult because you have to refrigerate them.” That’s where I came in to explain that USANA not only cares about having the best quality products, but we also care about convenience. For those of you who don’t know, USANA Probiotic comes in powder form in a tiny packet. It’s also flavorless so it’s great for just adding to your water or juice in the morning. But the best thing about USANA Probiotic is that it doesn’t have to be refrigerated and the shelf life is great! OK, I lied. The best thing about it is the amazing benefit it is to your body. But honestly, who didn’t know that?

When many of the celebrities told me they were just talking one multivitamin a day from some generic brand, I about died. I immediately gave them my card and the product to try and told them to call me in a few weeks, or I’ll call them, and I want to hear the difference they feel. I can’t wait to contact them. ☺

Promoting our wonderful vitamins in the spotlight of celebrities is a great way to help our Associates with more prospecting ideas. I don’t know about you, but whenever I see a celebrity with something I’m not familiar with, I instantly want it…so I search it right away and see how I can be the owner of that popular item.

To sum it up: The Style Lounge was a huge success! I can’t in good conscience say that about the actual Oscars awards show, but at least we did the best we could to spread the word about USANA and all the wonderful products we make. ☺
