Humanitarian Efforts: WTA’s Liezel Huber Supports CHF

Written by on August 9, 2011 in Children's Hunger Fund, USANA with 0 Comments

We all know Liezel Huber as a gifted tennis player with a wonderful, bright personality. But did you know that Liezel is also a passionate humanitarian?

As an advocate for “Locks of Love,” Liezel donated her hair last year to help disadvantaged children suffering from medical hair loss. Her own foundation, Liezel’s Cause, helps victims of Hurricane Katrina get back on their feet. Recently, Liezel has become a champion for needy children in impoverished regions around the world through her support of Children’s Hunger Fund.

While getting ready to play at the San Diego Open recently, Liezel took time out of her very busy schedule to pick out some nutritious foods, including a bottle of Usanimals, to add to a much-needed Food Pak that CHF will be sending to a very special child.

Thanks, Liezel, for being such a great advocate for those in need!

Check out Liezel in San Diego talking about USANA and the WTA’s “Ace Out Hunger” program benefiting Children’s Hunger Fund!
