5 Quick Questions: Jose Antonio Rivera

Written by on October 28, 2011 in 5 Quick Questions, USANA with 0 Comments

It’s always a treat catching up with Jose Antonio Rivera. “El Gallo” is an ardent supporter of USANA and is always willing to explain the benefits of nutritional supplementation.

And the fact that a world-class athlete — a three-time world champ (41-6-1, 24 KOs)! — believes so strongly in health, nutrition, and supplementation, says a lot.

Jose is a long-time member of Team USANA and we are wishing him nothing but the best personally and professionally. The fighter took some time off but is undefeated since returning to the ring earlier this year.

In fact, here’s a rundown of what he’s got planned for 2012. Can’t wait to see him in the ring again!

“The time away from boxing helped me heal mentally and physically and it allowed me to fall in love with the sport again. I missed the optimal training, competing at a world championship level and being around my team. I feel strong and healthy which is the only reason why I am doing this again.”

Take a look at the following 5 Quick Questions (and Answers) we did with him backstage at the 2011 USANA International Convention. And don’t forget to like him on Facebook to keep current on his career.
