The Health & Happiness Summit with Dr. Oz: Show Time!

Today is the day! After weeks of anticipation, the Health and Happiness Summit with Dr. Oz begins in just a few hours at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

It’s an exciting day for USANA, whose founder and CEO were invited to be among an all-star lineup of health and happiness experts.

I arrived in New York late yesterday but Dr. Myron Wentz, USANA Founder, and Dave Wentz (@Dave_Wentz), USANA CEO, touched down earlier in the week and already have taken a big bite out of the Big Apple.

USANA Teams up with HealthCorps

If you were following along on Twitter — #HHSummit — on Thursday, you no doubt experienced this bit of exciting news:

USANA is now working with Dr. Oz and HealthCorps, a nonprofit organization founded by Dr. Oz and Lisa Oz to help children live healthier lives.

To kick of the collaboration, a “Teen Battle Chef” cooking competition took place at Columbia University.

Dave and Dr. Wentz visited with media and joined Dr. Oz, Lisa Oz, celebrity chef Rocco DiSpirito and others to judge healthy dishes prepared by high school students.

“Teen Battle Chef is one of HealthCorps’ many educational programs,” Lisa Oz said. “The purpose is to teach kids about healthy eating in a fun way, and we are fortunate to have USANA’s support.”

More Excitement in New York

And then on Friday, Dave and Dr. Wentz were on-hand for a live taping of the two-time Emmy Award-winning The Dr. Oz Show.

It’s all leading up to today’s sold-out event featuring Dave and Dr. Wentz, the best-selling authors of The Healthy Home; Dr. Christiane Northrup; Dr. Nicholas Perricone; Rovenia “Dr. Ro” Brock; Dr. Michael Breus; and Montel Williams; and of course, Dr. Oz and Lisa Oz.
