USANA Notebook: Already a Very Big Year
“You, my friend, have had a very big year,” Steve Martin’s character says to Jack Black’s after the two spot a pink-footed goose in The Big Year, the Delta in-flight movie shown as we traveled home from the Health and Happiness Summit with Dr. Oz.
It got me thinking: We’re less than a quarter of the way through 2012 — and already it’s been a HUGE year for USANA Health Sciences, my friends.
USANA’s Going Places
From an events standpoint alone, the last 10 weeks have been incredible. A few highlights:
- Enthusiastic Associates and guests attend the Canada Cross-Regional Conference (XRC) in Toronto
- USANA’s Angie Larsen and Mallory Moger mingle with celebrities at the Roger Neal Oscar Suite
- Thousands from all over converge at Radio City Music Hall for The Health and Happiness Summit with Dr. Oz (listen to what Tom & Lorie Mulhern, Edward Rondaris, and Gene & Gwen Burnell had to say about the event)
- The dynamic duo of David Baker and Brian Dixon visit the Linus Pauling Institute
- USANA visits with the WTA and several USANA Brand Ambassadors in Indian Wells, California
- Sydney, Australia gets a jolt of energy with the USANA Asia Pacific Convention

And USANA Associates got a “suite” view of world-class tennis (and even had a surprise guest or two. Liezel Huber, the top-ranked doubles player; Timothy “Desert Storm” Bradley, junior welterweight champ; and Dr. Christine Wood, member of USANA’s Scientific Advisory Council, stopped by for a visit on March 11).
Team USANA Thrives
By now — thanks to this video — many of you know more than 600 elite athletes trust their health to USANA. Here are a few recent highlights from the world of USANA sport:
- We welcomed two new brand ambassadors — a skier and a snowboarder
- We renewed our contract with US Speedskating
- We watched as Sarah Hendrickson, a member of the USANA-sponsored Visa Women’s Ski Jumping Team, captured an overall World Cup title
- We got an inside look at the US Ski and Snowboard Association’s Center of Excellence
- And don’t forget our own Corporate Games champs…

Keep the Momentum Going
W0w! What a way to start 2012 (especially after an accolade-packed 2011). And I’m sure there are many other achievements/events/etc. I didn’t include in this blog post.
Let’s keep the momentum going by sharing this news with your social networks. Oh, and don’t forget to follow USANA on Twitter…
USANA Notebook is an occasional series of posts in which I compile various tidbits from within the corporate walls or from out in the field. The series will also at times include commentary on what’s happening throughout our industry and in social media. As always, please share this information with your networks and feel free to send along information that could be included in future posts. View previous Notebooks here.
