USANA, WTA Soak Up the Sun in Indian Wells
Ever wonder what happens when your skin hasn’t seen the sun for a couple months and, while enjoying the Southern California sunshine, you forget to lather that pasty skin with sunscreen?
You get an overdose of Vitamin D and turn into something that resembles a lobster. Yikes.
However, the heat radiating off your scorched body is easy to look past when you know that your day also consisted of meeting up with some of USANA’s WTA Brand Ambassadors. And that you get to do it all again tomorrow.
A few of my colleagues and I made our way from the snowy mountains of Salt Lake City to the hot hills of Palm Springs yesterday to meet up with some of our amazing ambassadors and I think that I can speak for the group when I say we’re having a blast.
Yesterday morning we met up with the ever-so-sweet and talented Liezel Huber and wrapped up the day with the beautiful and kind Zheng Jie.
Today we get to meet up with the No. 1 Australian Sam Stosur and end it with USANA’s latest WTA addition, Sloane Stephens.
It’s days like these that make me really enjoy my job. I have the pleasure of meeting some of the worlds top women tennis athletes, gather and provide fun content for this very blog, take in some sun and hang out with some hilarious co-workers.
So before I meet the rest of the crew in the lobby, I suggest following @TeamUSANA on Twitter for some behind the scenes action (#USANAwta). Oh, and just to cover my bases, you might want to “like” USANA Athletes on Facebook! You never know what fun content I might post!

Also, don’t forget to check back on Friday for a more in-depth recap of our trip and see what else we’ve been able to gather from this visit!
