Women of USANA — It’s Time to Make Your Health a Priority

May isn’t just a month to celebrate mothers — it’s also a time to celebrate women, specifically their health.

Kicking off on Mother’s Day, May 13-19, 2012, is National Women’s Health Week. It’s a weeklong health observance coordinated by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Office on Women’s Health.

Women often put others before them, and their well-being becomes secondary as a result. That’s why making health a top priority in every woman’s life is this year’s theme, “It’s Your Time.”

There are a number of activities being offered in conjunction with Women’s Health Week including, the 2012 Woman Challenge, National Women’s Checkup Day and Health Proclamations. There are a number of health resources on the Health Week website, where you can also check out events in your area.

Though National Women’s Health Week is a U.S. initiative, we encourage women all over the world to focus on themselves for a change.
