RESET Success: Turning Dreams Into Reality

It has truly been a life-changing journey for USANA Associate Mikel Ann Hall.

Mikel, like many of us, struggled with reaching her goal weight. In 2008, Mikel lost 60 pounds and ran her very first marathon.

Even with such a great accomplishment under her belt, Mikel found it hard to keep the weight off. Sadly, as the years passed, she gained all of the weight back and even more.

I personally can relate to Mikel’s story. I, too, have felt the thrill of losing so much weight — only to gain it all back in utter disappointment.

Frustrated and wanting a real change, Mikel decided to commit to USANA’s RESET program and has since lost an astonishing 75 lbs. She knew that if she wanted to stay healthy this time around, it had to be a sincere lifestyle change.

Conquering Everest

With newly found energy and excitement for life, Mikel joined USANA 2-Star Diamond Director Susanne Cunningham and a group of climbers on a trek to Mt. Everest Base Camp last summer.

She described the trip as “magical” and has since been inspired to push herself to new heights.

She not only became passionate about reaching her personal goals, but also began to thrive in helping others overcome their obstacles and accomplish their dreams.

Reaching New Heights

Mikel can now add another amazing achievement to her life story.

On March 2, 2013 Mikel finished her very first Ironman competition in New Zealand.

At 50 years old, Mikel is in the best shape of her life.

“Looking back, I would never have thought that my most difficult challenge with food would one day turn in to my greatest asset,” Mikel says. “USANA has blessed me in more ways than I ever could have imagined. Thank you.”

Mikel is focused on sharing her personal USANA story and building her business by focusing on athletes and nutrition.

Together, with the help of people like Mikel, we are changing lives.

Thank you Mikel for being an inspiration to me and all of our USANA family!

I am so inspired by you, Mikel Ann! Thank you for sharing your story. I’ll never forget when you told me about your dream at USANA Convention 2011. I thought you might just be crazy enough to do it — and you did! Your achievement has inspired me to train for a sprint triathlon this summer. It’s not quite as awesome as IRONMAN, but it’s a step in the right direction. Congratulations, you are amazing!
