As we take time to gather with friends and family and reflect on 2013, members of the USANA management team would like to share some personal thoughts on this season and why you, our USANA family, make it so bright.
Dave Wentz, USANA CEO
Happy Holidays! The holiday season is upon us, and soon it will be time to close out another year. During this season, I can’t help but look back and reflect on the year that we all shared together. I’m grateful for the health of the USANA family, and my own family as well. I’m also grateful for all of the lives we have touched throughout the year; true wealth and true health are gifts that just keep giving.
We’ve had a wonderful year here at USANA, and I am excited for the future our company holds. With amazing events to kick off the year and great products to help you fulfill your health needs, I have a feeling that 2014 will be our best year yet.
So on behalf of USANA Health Sciences and all of our employees here at the Home Office and around the world, I want to wish you and your family a very happy holidays, and a safe and amazing New Year.
Kevin Guest, USANA President of the Americas, Europe, and South Pacific
As I reflect on the past year, I am filled with gratitude for the opportunity to get to know so many amazingly talented and successful USANA Associates. You each play a vital role in making USANA what it is—a company that is forever committed to sharing messages of health and financial freedom with others. Our success simply would not be possible if it were not for dedicated Associates like you, living all around the globe.
It is truly an exciting time to be part of the USANA family. We are growing at a record pace, we have an unbeatable compensation plan, and our nutritional products are award-winning. With USANA in 19 markets the opportunity to share Dr. Wentz’ vision and to help others love life and live it, is at an all time high. Now, where you go with your USANA business is up to you. My hope is that you can make 2014 the best year yet for yourself and your entire USANA team.
I wish you a season of health and happiness. May 2014 be a year filled with success, joy, health and prosperity.
Sherman Ying, Vice President of North Asia
In the movie of Forrest Gump, Forrest’s mom said, “Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you’re gonna get.” I would say “Joining in USANA is like a box of chocolates. You certainly know you have picked the best quality one.” While we are all celebrating from home to home, heart to heart, and from one place to another, the warmth and joy of Christmas brings USANA family closer to each other. Life is meaningful when sharing, in USANA, you are never alone. In this touching season, I would like to wish our USANA associates a Merry Christmas and happy New Year.
Lori Truman, Vice President of U.S. Field Development

Shawn McLelland, Vice President of Studios and Events
Merry Christmas USANA family! At this time of year I like to reflect on the many blessings in my life and at the top of that list is my family and the relationships that I have. USANA has played such an important role in both of these areas. Over the past 18 years, my family has appreciably benefited from the products, the opportunity, and so many strong friendships from all over the world. I have been greatly influenced by so many of you as I’ve listened to your inspiring stories and watched your own lives change through hard work and commitment to Dr. Wentz’s vision. I wish each of you a very healthy and prosperous 2014 and I look forward to helping you to continue helping others.
Dan Whitney, Vice President of Ethics and Market Expansion
Is this year honestly almost over? It seems like it just started. Unbelievable!!! 2013 was full of ups and downs, victories and some defeats. All were great learning lessons for me. As I step back and analyze the unpredictable journey I went through this year, it made me really focus on the “constants” in my life.
The joy of the holiday season for me comes from the “constant” blessing I have of being surrounded by family. It’s a great time to get together and focus on the positive aspects of life. I am truly humbled to be a part of this USANA family. I thank each of you for inspiring me every day by your constant dedication, unwavering examples, bravery in the face of adversity, etc., which all result in your ability to positively change the lives of countless people! Thank you, I truly thank you for making me want to be a better person. As with family, please know my team and I are ALWAYS here to help you. No amount of service we could provide would be sufficient for the positive way you have influenced our lives.
Thank you and happy holidays.
Aurora Gaston, General Manager USANA Philippines
No man-made or natural disaster, even in the magnitude of Typhoon Yolanda or Haiyan, which noted as the strongest typhoon in history to hit landfall, can ever put the Filipino spirit down. While the devastation may have led to thousands of lives lost and billions of dollars in property damage, hope always springs eternal — still reflecting on the faces of the unfortunate people that stood in the monster storm’s path. This holiday season, we don’t look at what we have lost, but what we have learned from the losses; that out there in the randomness of things in this world, there are good souls always willing to help. The outpouring help and mercy to the Filipinos especially from USANA True Health Foundation will never be forgotten. And one thing we Filipinos have known on the height of this huge devastation — Christmas does not only happen in December! Thank you and have a blessed Christmas everyone from the bottom of our hearts.
Elaine Pace, USANA True Health Foundation President
2013 was a year of unprecedented giving by the USANA family. We reached out to help with disasters in Lushan, China, and the eastern Philippines, supported ten global Mercy Networks through the Children’s Hunger Fund, and awarded two-week medical programs at Sanoviv Medical Institute for people who were desperately in need of integrated care.
Each of you who has given to the True Health Foundation made these good works possible. My heart is full as I look at photographs of 2,700 of you who participated in the Champions for Change 5k, the list of over 10,000 donations, and all the ways you have shared good news about the foundation through social media. Thank you to our individual donors, fundraisers, wrapper recyclers, and communication champions. Together we will continue to make the world a better place.
