Eric Worre talks about ConfidenceAs the owner of your own business, do you ever find yourself managing fears instead of your business?

Finding people to talk to, overcoming objections, and giving public presentations may all be sources of stress that can take over. But focusing on these fears keeps you from reaching your true potential.

Fortunately, thanks to some top tips from network marketing professional Eric Worre, you can boost your confidence and ban the fear.

  1. Understand Your Potential
Take a look at the leaders around you. Notice the time/financial freedom their businesses provide. Set your own hours, work where you want and break free from your cubicle—all of this is possible through hard work and having a clear vision of your future.
  2. Master the Skills
Once you develop strong skills, the fear goes away. When you know how to find unlimited people to share your message with, you’re not afraid anymore. Remember, you don’t have to love everything about being a business owner…that’s the way it is. Find the area of the job that you don’t love and apply some discipline to get you to the parts that you do love. Once you’ve got the skills, you’re ready to progress.
  3. Learn to Handle Objections
Oftentimes we view objections as a solid roadblock, but they’re quite the opposite. Infact, they are a perfect opportunity to get your foot in the door. It’s time to change Confidencethe way we view objections, and start using them to start a conversation. Objections provide you with a problem, and your business could be the solution.
  4. Put in the Time
Just like any educational pursuit, this is going to take time. Take 12 months and focus on improving and obtaining the proper skills. Study and practice every day. And be sure to put money into a separate account each month to pay for your continued education—this can be used to purchase training materials and to attend events.
  5. Change Your Programming
Have you ever been told that you’re nothing? That you’ll never succeed? What’s worse — you’ve probably started to believe it. You need to change your programming and rewire your thought process to create confidence instead of fear. Feed your mind positive thoughts that will lead you in the direction of purpose, and fill your life with motivating people who believe in you and your ability to achieve great things. Balance the scales of positive and negative in your life, and you’re sure to come out on top.

“Wherever your repeating pattern is, that’s where your breakthrough lies…Find those repeating patterns and reverse them.”

–Eric Worre
