A este proceso se le llama vasodilataci\u00f3n y es el responsable de controlar el flujo sangu\u00edneo y la presi\u00f3n arterial, y de garantizar que la sangre llegue hasta la punta de los dedos de manos y pies, y en fin, a todas partes.<\/p>\n<p>Para garantizar que nuestros vasos sangu\u00edneos se conserven lo m\u00e1s sanos posible, la respuesta de vasodilataci\u00f3n debe funcionar.<\/p>\n<p>Pero por principio de cuentas, debemos comprender c\u00f3mo funciona este proceso.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>El \u00f3xido n\u00edtrico producido por las c\u00e9lulas endoteliales controla el flujo sangu\u00edneo<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Nuestras arterias est\u00e1n revestidas con c\u00e9lulas endoteliales. Es esta relajaci\u00f3n de los vasos sangu\u00edneos lo que permite que exista un flujo de sangre regular para garantizar que las cantidades adecuadas de sangre viajen hacia d\u00f3nde se necesitan.<\/p>\n<p>La principal mol\u00e9cula responsable de la relajaci\u00f3n de nuestros vasos sangu\u00edneos es el \u00f3xido n\u00edtrico. El \u00f3xido n\u00edtrico es producido por la c\u00e9lulas endoteliales en respuesta a diversos est\u00edmulos, y se abre paso hacia las c\u00e9lulas de los m\u00fasculos adyacentes, donde env\u00eda a estas c\u00e9lulas la se\u00f1al de relajarse. Sin embargo, \u00e9ste no es el caso con los radicales libres del \u00f3xido n\u00edtrico. Debido a esta diferenciaci\u00f3n, tanto el \u00f3xido n\u00edtrico como el proceso de vasodilataci\u00f3n son susceptibles a ataques de otros radicales libres.
