Dr. Carsten Smidt Joins the USANA Family

We’re growing again. You know that’s how USANA does things — never resting on our laurels, always improving, forever moving forward.

Dr. Carsten Smidt

This time the improvement comes from an exciting new member of the family — addition by addition. His name is Dr. Carsten Smidt, and he’s the new vice president of research and development. Dr. Smidt adds impressive experience to the world-class team of scientists we already have. In a career covering nearly two decades, he has worked for the Mead Johnson Nutritional Group at Bristol Myers-Squibb developing Boost® nutritional drink, and spent many years directing research and development programs in the direct-selling industry.

Dr. Smidt’s academic and professional credentials are as impressive as his corporate experience. He received his doctorate in Nutrition Science and Physiological Chemistry from the University of California at Davis. You can also add memberships to organizations like the American Society for Nutritional Sciences, the American Society of Nutrition, and the German Society for Nutrition to his résumé. Dr. Smidt is also a fellow at the American College of Nutrition.

He strengthens the solid foundation of science that has been USANA’s calling card for 20 years, and will help us continue to produce the best science-based products on the planet.

So even in the swirl of excitement surrounding our 20th anniversary — an appropriate time to look back and celebrate how far we’ve come — we are still looking to the future. And with the addition of Dr. Smidt, and all the expertise he brings, the future is looking bright.

    To Whom It May Concern,

I AM VERY INTERESTED TO BE PART OF THE USANA TEAM BUT I AM BASED HERE IN DUBAI. PLEASE ADVISE IF THERE WILL BE ANY CHANCES OF PUTTING AN OFFICE HERE.
