USANA Fortune 25: Egészségedre to Exploring Budapest!
Like any historic city, Budapest seems to have layers of history, culture, and stories just waiting to be explored.
Today, Day 2 of this year’s Fortune 25 trip, our top Distributors had the chance to explore Budapest’s many facets via the #USANAlifestyle — meaning a fantastic vacation their way.
We began our morning in Pest, with a tour on the banks of the Danube at the huge and historic Hungarian Parliament Building — inaugurated in 1896 on the 1,000th anniversary of the country.
After learning about the awe-inspiring Gothic Revival architecture and the Hungarian crown jewels, the group moved on to Heroes’ Square and a private lunch at Robinson Restaurant on Városligeti Lake.
From there, the Fortune 25 had a choice of four fantastic Budapest experiences:
1. Visiting a local Turkish bathhouse for a massage and relaxing dip in one of the healing hot springs that the region is famous for.
2. An adventurous trek, including crawling on your hands and knees, through the limestone caves created by the city’s natural hot springs.

3. A guided tour across Budapest’s Chain Bridge and up a funicular to the Buda hills. Home of the Royal Palace and Matyas Church, the area is rich with stories dating back to the 13 century.
4. Shopping in Budapest’s up-and-coming fashion district for clothes, bags, and Hungarian souvenirs.
After a fun day exploring Budapest just the way we wanted, we all met up for a five-star reception and dinner with a five-star view at Fisherman’s Bastion Restaurant. Located high above Budapest, with the sunset reflecting on the Danube and Parliament Building, the restaurant’s balconies provided the perfect photo op.
Though we’re moving on to Vienna, Austria, tomorrow, we will have fond memories and fantastic pictures of our time exploring the Jewel of the Danube. Egészségedre (that’s “Cheers!” in Hungarian), to the Fortune 25 and Budapest!
