Stay in Touch: How & Where to Follow USANA on Social Media
Ten days from now all eyes will be on USANA Health Sciences and its 20th anniversary celebration.
For us on the Social Media team, we’re about to commemorate a birthday of our own — the Big 4! — albeit with a little less fanfare (somehow we couldn’t book the likes of Dr. Mehmet Oz, Larry King, and ’80s greats Kenny Loggins and Belinda Carlisle for our invitation-only The Cave Bash).
No matter. In honor of both milestones, I thought it might be nice to offer our What’s Up, USANA? readers a quick rundown of where and how to stay current with all the happenings within USANA and beyond.
King of the Hill
Obviously, Facebook and its 900 million users is the social media heavyweight. It’s where we at USANA got our start (well, that and MySpace). And now USANA boasts more than a dozen Facebook sites targeted to providing product- and market-specific information.
Don’t worry about liking all of them; that’s overkill (but if you’re interested — especially if you’re looking for your “home market” page — here’s a list that is frequently updated).
Here are the key sites to “like” so you stay up-to-date with news you can share with your own networks:
- USANA Health Sciences, Inc.: The Facebook source for all things USANA.
- Rev3® Energy: Cleaner, smarter, stronger. ‘Nuff said.
- Sensé Beautiful Science: Why not learn how to take better care of your body’s largest organ?
- USANA Athletes: 600+ elite athletes trust their health to USANA. Go Team USANA!
Hot Tip: Check with your team or leaders in your area to see if there is a specific Facebook page or group set up just for your organization. It’s a great way to communicate important information on a smaller scale.
Tweet, Tweet
You’ll notice a pattern. Our key Twitter sites correspond with our Facebook pages. Easy to remember! Start following today!
- @USANAinc: Corporate tweets, and a lot of fun stuff, too.
- @DrinkRev3: Drinking a Rev3? Take a photo and tweet it to us.
- @SenseSkinCare: Got a question? Ask it and our Sensé experts will try to help.
- @TeamUSANA: Show your USANA pride by following the Twitter stream top athletes follow.
Hot Tip: Pay attention to various hash tags to join in the conversation. Here’s one you’ll want to follow for the next couple weeks: #USANA12
