Doing something amazing once can be a fluke; even twice can be lucky. But four times in a row — you know it’s legit. Outside magazine listed USANA as one of the “Best Places to Work” for the fourth year in a row. Pretty impressive, right?

When you strive for the best, it tends to draw attention. Outside magazine has had their eye on us, sizing us up for their annual “Best Places to Work” review and we’ve come out with accolades yet again. USANA was ranked No. 23 out of 100 United States companies.

“We are thrilled that our commitment to creating a great workplace has been recognized by Outside magazine,” says Dan Macuga, USANA chief communications officer. “Being named one of the country’s ‘Best Places to Work’ for the fourth consecutive year is testament to the fact that we practice what we preach.”

So, How Were We Measured?

Thoroughly.

Companies were evaluated on how well they enable their employees to balance productivity with an active and socially and ecologically conscious lifestyle. In other words, it’s all about balance, health, and happiness.

This was determined by evaluating employer questionnaires, and confidential employee-satisfaction surveys. These surveys gather information about benefits, compensation, policies, job satisfaction, environmental initiatives, and community-service programs. (It’s no surprise that Outside, with the help of Outdoor Industry Association and Best Companies Group, spends an entire year to determine the best of the best.)

“We make sure our employees have everything they need to lead healthy, productive lives by providing them with benefits such as a fully equipped gym, wellness consulting, and an employee café stocked with affordable, fresh food,” Macuga says. “Our Associates and customers rely on us to come to work excited to do the best we can each day. Having a supportive work environment helps to motivate our employees to do just that.”
