USANA12: This Thursday Goes to 11
Not a lot of rock ‘n’ roll songs written about Thursdays. Lots of Friday and Saturday songs, even some about Monday and Sunday. No Thursday.
Well, today was ripe for the “massive riff to power chords to epic chorus to face-melting solo” treatment. It rocked from start to finish.
And if today was a massive rock tune, it started out right with an awesome performance of this year’s theme song. History lessons from USANA’s first Associate, Sterling Ottesen, and Dr. Denis Waitley, and a 45-minute chat with everyone’s new friend and wise teacher, best-selling author John C. Maxwell, picked up where Osmond left off.
The chorus? How about the nearly deafening applause from a packed, eager crowd at the EnergySolutions Arena? Works for me.
Then you throw in USANA CEO Dave Wentz’s reveal of USANA very personalized future, and we’ve come to the big solo.
iPads! What else could it be? You may have heard, but we gave every distributorship a shiny new iPad. That’s a real mindblower people will be talking about forever.

Add in the huge choir on social media who had #USANA12 trending in Salt Lake City today. Maybe a few bars of amazing entertainment — a drumline, a classical trio in the VIP Lounge, a DJ onstage in the Store. And you end it all with an appropriate outro — a ton of awards and Dr. Wentz’s keynote address — at the evening session.
Will it rock? Of course.
Will the people like it? Absolutely.
Will they dance? That’s later tonight.
So yesterday we built the foundation for the party. Today we threw on the tunes — and cranked it to 11.
What’s left for tomorrow? Plenty.
