My First Rogers Cup and Genie Bouchard!
This past weekend, I had the great pleasure of attending my first Rogers Cup event in Toronto. And boy, was I amazed. Not only was the site incredible, but the players were so gracious, and the USANA booth looked top notch (thanks to our outstanding distributors in Toronto).
For those of you who may not be familiar with the Rogers Cup, the best female tennis players have gone head-to-head in this tournament since 1892.
So, you could say it’s pretty impressive to be a part of the competition.

We were lucky enough to have Genie Bouchard, Women’s Tennis Association’s (WTA) #1 Canadian player, come to our booth and play air hockey against one lucky fan.
That fan ended up being Isla, a nine-year-old girl who was dying to meet Genie. The air hockey match got intense when Genie pulled out some tricky moves during the sudden death match, but our little fan from Toronto ended up beating Genie 4-3.

Genie wasn’t the only superstar to visit the USANA booth during the tournament though! Our veteran WTA ambassador, Sam Stosur from Australia, even stopped by to sign a few autographs.

I also got the rare opportunity to catch up with Puerto Rico sensation, Monica Puig. I interviewed her about her first win at the Cup on Sunday night and she told me what it takes to get through tough competitions.
