In the News: Great Things Just Keep Coming
The past month has been an exciting one for USANA, and great things just keep coming. 2011 was a great year, and I know what’s coming for 2012, and there’s no chance of anything slowing down.
The more we do, the more the world takes notice. Check out some of the most recent stories below and make sure you share them with others. The USANA message is strong and the more it gets out there the better.
Health and Happiness Summit
By now you’ve probably heard about the Health and Happiness Summit with Dr. Mehmet Oz. USANA’s own Dr. Myron Wentz and Dave Wentz, best-selling authors of The Healthy Home, have been invited to participate. I can’t wait for this one. Dr. Oz is an amazing speaker and true pleasure to speak with.
This is just one of many coming announcements. Make sure to stay tuned for more!
Better Business Bureau
You may have also heard about our A+ ranking from the Better Business Bureau. Receiving this ranking further emphasizes our focus on our customers and ensures that they have an amazing experience with our company. Not many companies are willing to go through the accreditation process, but if you’re confident in your business and the people who work there, why wouldn’t you!
USANA Freestyle Cup
We are confident in all aspects of our business — at our home office and in the field. This weekend we’re excited to once again support world-class athletes at the USANA Freestyle Cup in Lake Placid, N.Y. The World Cup aerials action continues through Saturday and is scheduled to air on NBC at 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28. Like the USANA Snowboardcross Cup in December, we expect this to be an amazing event.
USANA Snowboardcross Cup
Speaking of the USANA Snowboardcross Cup, it was a great event for USANA, even during the commercials. Check out USANA’s own special commercial, which aired during the event. I love watching our commercial and seeing the Brand in such a cool place!!!
The first-place win of one USANA’s new brand ambassadors, Lindsey Jacobellis, made this an event we’ll all remember.
Brand Ambassadors
The announcement of both Lindsey and alpine skier Nolan Kasper as brand ambassadors garnered mentions on both Yahoo! and SportsPro.
U.S. Speedskating Team
Another bit of exciting news with Team USANA is our extended partnership with the U.S. Speedskating Team. USANA first teamed up with the organization in 1999 as its Official Supplier of Nutritional Supplements and is the longest-standing sponsor of the Olympic team.
As I said during the press conference, extending our sponsorship with these elite American athletes was an easy decision for us. We are honored to be able to continue assisting them with their health as they prepare to dominate the world stage during the upcoming winter Olympic Games.
If you’re in the Salt Lake area this weekend, I encourage you stop by the Utah Olympic Oval for the ISU World Cup event, which runs Jan. 21-22. You can also watch the event live online on the ISU Skating Channel in all countries except South Korea and Canada.
Awards
USANA dedicates itself to excellence in all fields, so it should come as no surprise that we’ve broken our own record for most awards won in one year. Among the media outlets to pick up on our success — Market Watch, NPros.com and Daily Markets.
And we didn’t stop there. USANA was voted the best company in network marketing for 2011 on MLM Insider online. We were also tops in the best nutritional and best weight loss companies in network marketing categories.
It’s a great time to be part of USANA. Thanks to all of you for helping make everything abovepossible. I hope to see a lot of you at one of our upcoming XRCs. The first one is set for Toronto!
Can’t wait for XRC in Toronto!! So proud to be a part of this amazing company!
