Gen Now Week: An End and a Beginning
Well, it was fun while it lasted. A week of discovery and discussion about all things Gen Y. I’d like to go ahead and pronounce USANA’s Generation Now Week a major success. Hopefully you agree.
If you need convincing, just looking back at all the amazing things that happened this week.
Monday was a great glimpse into the life of an older Gen Yer from Ruby Director @MelanieEthridge.
Tuesday we had a missive about social media from The Ninja, Ruby Director @SoominKim.
Wednesday was a huge day! Ruby Director and author @KateNorthrup talked about why USANA and Gen Y are a match made in heaven.
Then we made history by holding the first ever USANA Twitter Roundtable. Check out the whole discussion using #USANAGenY, or just see the highlights with our greatest hits Storify.
Thursday you had to hear my thoughts about what’s more important, age or action? And you were unfortunately subjected to way too many pictures of me, as well. (Hopefully we’ll all recover from that soon.)
Diamond Director Nancy On also has a blog on her site that talks about building a Gen Y team. It’s good stuff. You need to check it out.
And all week there were pretty awesome stories over on USANAtoday, as well as a lot of social media chatter on Twitter and Facebook.
That leaves us here: Friday.
The end. Kinda.
While one thing ends, another begins. And it’s a really cool thing. Today, the Generation Now Summit starts in Las Vegas.
It’s going to be an action-packed, super-energetic event. And you’re in great hands. The king of USANA social media, @TimHaran, is providing live updates and blogs today and Saturday.
We’re also doing something special tonight. We’ll be streaming a Gen Y panel discussion live from the Ravella at Lake Las Vegas with some of the speakers from the summit. You don’t want to miss that, so tune in at 5 p.m. PDT.
It’s been a great week. Hopefully we’ve gained understanding and provided tips that will help all generations work together to build a healthier, happier world. And, finally, keep the Gen Now conversation going on Facebook and with #USANAGenY on Twitter.
